Sales reps aren’t always available to chat with all of their leads via live video at a moment’s notice. But that doesn’t mean, as a rep, that you can’t show your face and make your presence known by sending short, personalized videos to the leads you’re most interested in talking to. Even if your leads live in a different hemisphere, you can make a connection that feels human and personal and address issues and challenges that are specific to them.
25. Create your own compelling video thumbnail – The thumbnail is a quick snapshot that will represent your video on YouTube. In order to attract the most viewers, the thumbnail should be eye-catching. If your channel has been verified and is in good standing, you can (and should) upload your own custom image to make sure the thumbnail is as intriguing/exciting as possible. To upload your own custom thumbnail, click the “edit” button for the corresponding video in the Video Manager section of your account.
When it comes to video marketing, the same rules apply. While you shouldn’t copy your competition’s ads (please don’t) you should take note of their content and see how it resonates with their audience. Are they getting a lot of likes and shares? Why is that? What social platforms are they most active on? What is the key messaging and paint point they are answering? How frequently are they sharing new content?
I think one of the easiest ways to do it is actually when you’re going to do a review video. So if you’re reviewing a specific product, I would link to that product so your viewers can actually go purchase that product as well, especially if it’s something that you love. That’s probably the easiest way to integrate affiliate links. And it’s also a great way to monetize any video that’s not sponsored. So any time you have favorite things or your favorite products or reviews, you can throw in an affiliate link to help people know where to find the product you’re talking about.

Include a full transcript of your video in the blog post. If you’re a words guy like yours truly, you’ll want to read along and reference the material after you watch the video. It’s a nice way to flesh out your blog post while using the content you’ve already created. Provide a link to your video to a service like Rev and get your full transcript without typing a thing.
We have always considered that live streams are only for matches and stuff that are going on around us. But guess what this is now also used for marketing purposes and it is expected to grow more than you think. Live streaming of product launch, reviews and company productions and operations can become a great idea for your video marketing. This can include Facebook live, interviews, webinars, and explainer videos that could be shown to the world through live streaming.

For instance, instead of “Company name,” try “Company name: Keyword” with your keyword being your industry, your service, your product or any term that helps define your brand and enable searchers to find you. Best practice is to approach this not as additional characters to fill with jargon about you but as a mechanism for users to come across your company organically – so put yourself in their shoes.
Making people retain the information you are providing is an important part of marketing. It might sound small, but it is integral. The retained information becomes a medium of your target audience coming back to you again and again. I try to personally just err on the side of being as transparent as possible about my relationship with the brand. So if they gave me a free product, and I’m not getting compensated for it, I’ll just say that. If it’s an affiliate relationship, like they have no idea who I am, that I’m even talking about it, but I do get a small percentage of the sale, thank you. I just try personally just to be– because trust is the main thing, like currency with your viewers that is most important. And anything that could kind of potentially violate that, personally I’m just like, I want to be completely up front with you guys about everything, whatever’s going on, so there’s no questions. And you guys can always feel like you can trust what I’m saying.

Support videos help answer common questions about your product or service; explain how to use certain functions, or address common customer issues. Not only are these videos helpful, but they also convey that you’re a business which supports its products and is transparent is helping users. A great example of the reach of support videos is IKEA, which has benefited hugely by sharing videos demonstrating how to put together a range of its furniture line.

In essence, the Overlay is a simple banner ad that sits on the lower third of your video. You have full control over the copy, thumbnail image and the desired destination you want to send users to. Search engines love videos because they see them as high-quality content, so to this end, using videos in various types of content as well as on your main web pages can work wonders for your SEO -- as long as the videos themselves are optimized properly as well. This means incorporating the right keywords, a solid meta description, and also a strong title.

The point is, there is enough time to transmit your message and a call to action. For those 3-5 seconds, your over-stimulated audience will have their eyes locked on your content. Make them count.
To be very honest, it takes nothing to write words.
