Another reason why video is great for conversions on websites is that they actually keep people around for long enough to look around on the site. This is especially true for those who aren’t big readers (a good rule of thumb is to assume that people’s eyes could be tired from looking at a screen all day). Well, most importantly, to be seen all around us is content. Since the induction of digital and technological mediums, everything is being communicated and transferred to people through content. From ideas to messages, nothing in the world today is transferred through content. The type of content might be different, but it could be said that nothing would be possible in today’s times without content. This is the reason that we regard Content as the King in the world contemporarily.
When you create a product review video for YouTube marketing, share your personal experience about the product you are selling – which means you must have personally used the product first – and be objective oriented in your video. Be honest and natural in your product review video so that you can win the confidence of the visitors so that they can buy your product.
You don’t need to buy an expensive camera or drone. You can produce top notch quality videos using just your smartphone. One thing that you do need to work on though, is the editing. Get very good at editing or pay somebody to do it for you. It would be great if you took the trouble to learn to edit well. it’s a useful skill that will pay off very well in the long term. Psst…it’s not that hard – really!
I think one of the easiest ways to do it is actually when you’re going to do a review video. So if you’re reviewing a specific product, I would link to that product so your viewers can actually go purchase that product as well, especially if it’s something that you love. That’s probably the easiest way to integrate affiliate links. And it’s also a great way to monetize any video that’s not sponsored. So any time you have favorite things or your favorite products or reviews, you can throw in an affiliate link to help people know where to find the product you’re talking about.

Growing your subscriber base initially relies on getting your content in front of new people. While this can happen through social shares, you’re also likely to connect with your target audience on YouTube by focusing on the right keywords. This is because both Google’s search engine and YouTube’s own search engine are reliable ways to steer people to specific content they’re searching for. In other words, on Facebook and Instagram people are more likely to stumble on your content whereas on YouTube they’re seeking it out.

Determine whether it’s better to create the video content in-house or to hire an agency to handle it. It’s tempting to go the in-house route as it’s generally seen as the most cost effective, but that can be a mistake. As Sophia Bernazzani writes, “Videos are hard to make – and it shows. The internet is populated with far too many slideshows and photos set to music that are masquerading as videos.”
For the most part, marketers today are no longer taking a pitching type of approach - the reason? There’s simply too much choice out there. Consumers and businesses simply don't’ need to be sold to; instead, they’re doing a quick internet search to find the best product in their neighbourhood or even in the world where they’ll proceed to order it online.

When it comes to video marketing, the same rules apply. While you shouldn’t copy your competition’s ads (please don’t) you should take note of their content and see how it resonates with their audience. Are they getting a lot of likes and shares? Why is that? What social platforms are they most active on? What is the key messaging and paint point they are answering? How frequently are they sharing new content?
Since Facebook allows you to set your own ad budget, many brands choose to run multiple ads at the same time. When you run two or more ads that have the same purpose but with slight variations, that’s called A/B testing or “split testing.” Which means if you are one of those people who can never decide between two ideas- your dreams have been answered.
Product demonstrations are videos which show off your product in action. How does it work? What are the important features? These videos are important because in today’s online world it can be difficult for customers to truly bond with a product they can’t see directly. If they can’t see it, how can they get excited enough to end up on your website, or in your store?
What you create is important, how you create is also important but where you get it live is even more important. And this is what should also be a part of your video marketing strategy. In the next section, you can find a detailed guide about video marketing platforms that you can consider.

Instagram Stories and Snapchat are both awesome for offering people intimate glimpses or short, personal glances of what you’re up to and they are so great for creative tools. The interesting thing about these videos is that they’re only up for 24-hours so that creates more of a real-time feel. It also gives marketers the opportunity to develop ads that are focussed on time-sensitive promotions.

I try to personally just err on the side of being as transparent as possible about my relationship with the brand. So if they gave me a free product, and I’m not getting compensated for it, I’ll just say that. If it’s an affiliate relationship, like they have no idea who I am, that I’m even talking about it, but I do get a small percentage of the sale, thank you. I just try personally just to be– because trust is the main thing, like currency with your viewers that is most important. And anything that could kind of potentially violate that, personally I’m just like, I want to be completely up front with you guys about everything, whatever’s going on, so there’s no questions. And you guys can always feel like you can trust what I’m saying.
